Gabriel Swift is Librarian for Early American Collections in Princeton University Library's Special Collections. Prior to joining Princeton in 2010, he was a Reference Associate in the Public Services Department of the Lilly Library, Indiana University. He holds an MA in History and an MLS with a Rare Books and Manuscripts Librarianship Specialization from Indiana University, as well as a certificate of proficiency in American Book History from Rare Book School (RBS), University of Virginia. His research interests include early American print history, Indigenous Studies, and the history of the American West.
